I Am—the all sufficient One

As you read this writing and others that I have written, you will discover the essence and passion of my writings.  The center focus and moral fiber of each writing surrounds the God of no beginning and no ending; the One and only Jehovah God who created the universe and all living things—the foremost character known as, “I Am.”

Most importantly, the emphasis contained in my writings encompasses the fact that this same God desires a personal relationship with mankind.  He wants to see all of humanity repent of their sin and accept His Son, Jesus, as Lord and Savior of their life.

My ongoing endeavor and soul purpose for writing is to encourage readers to place their trust in the Lord.  I have made every effort to paint pictures with words the magnificence that serving God brings.

That which God has done for me He most assuredly will do for you when you decide to surrender your vacillating lifestyle, as it may be, to Him.  He has a perfect plan designed just for you; one of peace even in the midst of storm.

(Jeremiah 29:11), “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Turning over a new leaf, seeing the Light, as it were, does not negate heartache and trouble that come our way.  As long as we are in the world, trials and tribulations will step across the threshold of our existence, whether a person walks in the statues of Christ or not.  The Bible says in (Matthew 5:45), “…for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

To the measure and degree by which these unwanted times exasperate our being, reveal the source of our strength and allegiance of spirit—God or self.  People are weak within themselves with regards to mental, physical, and spiritual challenges that repeatedly bombard the psyche and body.

I am a Christian and believe that God is all sufficient for my needs, yet I fight battles within myself that cause doubt and despair to raise their ugly heads.  They buffet me in my walk of faith, but God has never failed me.  He is my source of strength, which enables me to sustain my commitment to Him.

I lean heavily upon His unfailing arms, because He brings me through each encounter as victor.  Trials reinforce the underpinning of my faith, while providing the needed potency and trust in Jesus.  The peace that the Lord conveys in each victory fuses our relationship in an even greater measure than before.

(Hebrews 11:1), “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

All is not a garden of roses or beautiful landscapes of green, grassy meadows; touched by the morning sun at the beginning of springtime.  There are often storm clouds that accompany serenity and thorns that are attached to stems of beautiful roses.

All reasoning and footsteps taken to find tranquility are neither easy nor pleasant at times, but I have found order and resolve on my trek through the ups and downs of life.  There is grace sufficient enough and blessings numerous enough to sustain me in areas of weakness and those times of vulnerability.

I am most satisfied with the way things are, which makes me want to keep traveling on.  Some of the lyrics to the song, “I Don’t Regret a Mile,” by Larry Sparks, go something like this:  “I’ve drank the cup of disappointment and pain, and gone many a day without a song, but I’ve sipped enough nectar from the roses of life that make me want to keep living on.”

God is the only answer for the dilemmas we face, because His strength becomes our strength and His peace our peace.  What could be greater than these wonderful blessings from God?  They represent the truth of God’s Word, which are free for the asking to whomever.

Truth is open to any person that is open to it.  Non acceptance of truth is a sign of a mind that is clouded by unbelief and self-sufficiency; robed in self-indulgent living.  Those that are stiff-necked individuals deprive themselves of the joy of God’s salvation through Jesus Christ.

Power, fame, nor fortune can produce true and lasting happiness, though people depend on them each day in hopes of fulfilling the emptiness they have inside.  Such things are temporal, whereas, God is everlasting and all sufficient.

People that are searching for the purity of life or the meaning of success need not look any farther.  The moment a searching soul submits their will to God’s will, He reciprocates by filling them with His Spirit—Truth.

(Revelation 3:20), “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
