On the Brink of Madness

When I was a lad growing up in the small town of Martinez, California, political correctness and criminal rights were not tolerated as they are today.  If a person had mental problems and was incorrigible, having been diagnosed schizophrenic and found psychologically unfit to live in society, they were, for the most part, committed to insane asylums, as they were called back then.

The mental facility closest to my home was, and still is, located in the town of Napa, California.  Everyone knows this mental institution as NAPA.  It is classified as a low to moderate security facility and has the bed capacity to treat 1,362 patients.  In this facility, patients receive structure, observation, and a strict medication regiment.  It is the Napa State Hospital.  People that are admitted there suffer from some form of major mental illness.  These individuals receive professional medical attention and the help they so desperately need. 

Many people today have the same mental problems, but are walking the streets of our towns and cities, unsupervised.  They need to be incarcerated not only for their own safety, but the safety of others.  Every day is a struggle to survive on the streets. 

A number of them use intimidation as a way of obtaining money from passers-by that rub shoulders with them on city sidewalks, while these non-motivated, sick people mill around with nothing to do.  Others go beyond bullying that assault and exert their madness upon other law abiding, peace loving citizens.

The medications that are needed to help these individuals cope with their mental instability are not being administered.  They live their life on the streets with an unbalanced brain that dictates unreliable and emotionally unstable messages of how to live and survive.

When innocent people have the misfortune of running into one of these sociopaths or psychopaths, nomads of society, they run the risk of being on the receiving end of built up anger, frustration, and madness that can be unleashed without warning; causing pain and sometimes death to unsuspecting victims.

Their confused, misguided, and deranged minds sometimes seek to satisfy their sadistic cravings by inflecting pain on the innocent.  They enjoy the mere pleasure and amusement of the worse kind, at someone else’s expense.

If apprehended for their heinous crimes, the courts many times just slap their wrists and release them in short order to return to the same sidewalks that you and I walk, only to repeat crimes against society over and over again.  Our cities are on the brink of madness.

This madness can become contagious even in the sanest of minds.  Let me explain.  If confronted with the dastardly deeds done by these misfits of society, a God fearing person could very easily go off the deep end if the actions of a mentally disturbed person involved personal loved ones.  God’s strength would be the only saving grace, were this to happen. 

If my wife or daughter were accosted and assaulted by a maladjusted person, or my grandchildren was molested, the madness that I would feel toward the perpetrator would be grounds to commit me for psychological evaluation and help, because of the revenge mode that would engulf my being.  A get even, eye for an eye rage would certainly fill my mind, whereas, only God could help me overcome this rage.

As time marches on and the justice system becomes more lax regarding punishment for violent acts against society, because of overcrowding in state prisons, worse crimes and more of them will take place.  When sin is allowed to run rampant, I believe that we are on the brink of total madness on our streets and in our neighborhoods.  It’s so bad now, that a nighttime stroll is out of the question in some areas.

Our law enforcement officers have hands tied, because of political correctness pertaining to arrest procedures.  They are being restrained like never before—preventing them from doing their job effectively.  Officers are frustrated with the revolving door syndrome of crime—repeat offenders. Perpetrators are back on the streets faster than the reports for their arrest can be processed, because of overcrowding, do to the lack of state and federal funding for larger detention centers.

The A.C.L.U. and other corrupted organizations, with their high paid attorneys, are protecting the rights of criminals more so than the rights of the assaulted and injured.  I can understand the frustration of agencies that are working hard trying to protect citizens, only to have the case thrown out of court, because of a minor infraction of procedure.

Many states are becoming more liberal and less conservative; allowing moral insanity to run amok and unchecked.  It’s a battle for right; vs. wrong.  Politicians are more concerned with getting re-elected than supporting issues that are right for the country.  They wink at immorality and the madness of wrong doing. 

The liberal news media now gives interviews and undivided attention to hardened criminals and child molesters, as if they are someone important and what they say is something that the American people want to hear.  God help us!

Those that make the laws, and the judges that sit on the bench in our courts, don’t enforce the laws that we have.  They allow madness to rule our prisons and justice system.  The despicable men and women incarcerated in prisons, everywhere, should not have the rights and privileges that are afforded them.

Prisoner’s rights groups, prisoner unions, and advocates that fight for prisoner rights should be re-educated and shown the errors of their confused and demented ways.  They need Jesus to open their eyes to right and wrong, and the required penalties for wrongdoing.  Criminals gave up their rights as soon as they committed the crimes that put them behind bars!

I believe many leaders in government are corrupt; seeking their own agendas and advancement, whatever the cost.  They fall miles short of having any common sense at all.  I believe that many would sell our country down the river if it meant feathering their nest with wealth and power. 

If the body of Jesus Christ, the ‘Church’, would rise up and speak out against the onslaught of liberalism and sin, Christians could take back this nation for God...out of the hands of devil-minded madness. 

“In God We Trust” will soon be eliminated from our money system if things continue down the same path.  A few diehard atheists speaking out against Godly principles, and the idiots in key positions that listen to their rhetoric, are partly to blame. 

The rest of the blame rests on the shoulders of the majority of upright and wholesome Americans that remain quiet in their plush, ivory towers, as it were; living off their horn of plenty; allowing sin to flood our nation like a torrential storm floods low lands.  This nation is plummeting to a low level of immorality, because good hearted individuals say little, if anything, when madness opens its mouth.   

If God fearing people don’t get their head out of the sand, God will sooner or later turn His back on this nation.  I believe it with all of my heart.  Many of our nation’s people have ignored the basic fundamentals that this nation was founded upon—Godly principles.  I pray that Americans will turn from evil and madness before it’s too late.

When the people of our land seek God and His counsel, and turn from their evil ways, God will hear from heaven and restore unto the United Stated of America that which madness has destroyed.  Without God’s divine intervention and preservation, our country will continue down the slippery slope of rebellion against God.  Without internal cleansing of madness from high places in government, and the lowly, shameful streets of our cities, we haven’t a chance for survival.

Those that burn the American flag and protest against the Ten Commandments being posted in our courts and public schools are manipulated by the spirit of anti-Christ.  It’s the same spirit at work that was behind the movement of taking prayer out of public schools.  Today, there are efforts being made to ban the words “Under God” from the pledge of allegiance.  How far we have fallen!

The sane majority of concerned people should tell the minds-of-madness to sit down and shut up!   If these same mindless individuals are holding positions in city, state, and federal offices, they need to be voted out and replaced with Godly men and women that will restore dignity, honor, and purity to our land.

This madness needs to be dealt with in the same manner that was used when dealing with the madness of insane people in days gone by.  Sanitariums protected our streets by keeping them free from insanity.  Madness was not allowed to run unchecked and unleashed.  The American people were protected from this madness.  Let’s get back to the basics of lawful living by enforcing laws that are already on the books.

If we continue down the path of rebellion and willfully disregard God, we are headed for disaster in every state of the Union.  We are indeed on the brink of madness.  Before long, madness will choke the very life out of freedom.  We need to look around and see how far we have fallen in such a short amount of time.  It won’t be long if madness goes unchecked that insanity will completely rule our nation.  It would behoove all of us to act now before it’s too late.  Perhaps we need to incarcerate some of our leaders in mental institutions, or at least vote them out of office.
