Things aren’t always as they seem. If Satan revealed the end results of his deceptions, there would be no deceptions. The main thrust behind his strategy is to deceive people into believing a lie; making them think they are getting one thing, but giving them something all together different. Lies cause people to make wrong decisions, which generate more wrong decisions. This is Satan’s ploy and purpose when he uses people, situations and things to fabricate deceptions. Just because something or someone resembles truth does not mean it is truth.
I’ve observed Satan using the same mode of operation to deceive family after family, again and again. His tricks are the same old lies that people fall for. They are blinded by Satan’s deceptive tactics, because they are desperate, lonely or greedy. He takes advantage of those that are vulnerable. Whatever the reason may be, Satan’s manipulations and schemes are only successful if we allow them to be. It’s up to the individual.
Are you being deceived into thinking you’ve found what you’re looking for, and that it’s right for you? Is there a small voice inside your head telling you that it’s wrong in every way, but you refuse to listen? Are the caution signs and red lights flashing before you, yet you turn a blind eye to them?
You need to STOP what you are doing and examine your motives and newly acquired lifestyle to see if they line up with God’s Word and the Godly teachings that you know to be true.
Open your eyes! Open your mind! Don’t be deceived into making a wrong choice if something looks appealing, or feels and seems right. Make sure it’s right! Don’t turn off the God mind just because you want something. Take a close, hard look; a critical look with adult thinking that is tempered by truth and purity.
The decisions you make today change the course of the rest of your life; your children’s lives; and their children. Every decision has a sequence of events that follow. They will be good or bad. This is why it’s so important to make right decisions with the help of the Holy Spirit.
It’s serious business making decisions, so it’s imperative to make them according to God’s will if we desire peace in our home, at work and at play. Bad decisions affect all areas of life.
The deceptions of evil cause a person to toss away good judgment, personal convictions, Godly teachings, purity, wholesomeness, peace, joy, values, camaraderie with those of sound thinking and loved ones that care. They have been duped into believing a lie.
If you are reading this and there is a small voice inside of you whispering, please focus on the voice and hear what the Lord is saying. Discover what wrong decisions you might be making before it’s too late. The deceptions of evil bring regrets, confusion, heartache, misery and a lack of trust.
The devil is a liar and the father of all lies. If what you are dealing with is not 100% pure, unadulterated truth, it’s a lie from Satan—Beware. Be careful not to rely on feelings to direct your decisions. Lean on Jesus and give Him the reins of your life. Don’t allow the deceptions of evil to claim another victim…mainly you.
God has something better. Don’t get impatient. Give God a chance to bring the real thing into your life. Don’t settle for Satan’s counterfeit. Don’t make a horrible mistake, and regret it for the rest of your life.
